Happy 85th birthday today (Jan 11) to Aunt Ardella! I visited her on Saturday at Edgewood Memory Care. She looks great & is doing well with using a walker. I brought her a soft, fuzzy throw blanket that has lots of spring flowers on it - brightened up her room & is something pleasant to look at. I brought along a few BD cards that Robert sent with me & she read a couple letters. We had a nice visit.

Happy Birthday to my dad today! It was a beautiful day in ND today - still 44 degrees this evening at 9:00 pm. Dad spent the day working of course but did stop by 5:00 pm to enjoy birthday supper & cake. This nice weather sure makes farming easier!!

Happy New Year to all HHF'S! Happy Birthday to niece JILL, have a safe and fun birthday. We are going to Val and Kevin's to celebrate Kevin's final day of work at Swenson's RV and to celebrate his retirement! Val says steaks are on the menu. We won't have to fight the crowds tonite to get a meal!!!

I wanted to pass on news of the death of Wilma Adam. Wilma was married to Don Adam who is the son of Myrtle (Helstedt) & Ervin Adam. Wilma & Don had two children Melinda and Donnell. If you would like to read her obituary you can find it at Nelson Funeral

Christmas is just about over now, Ron and I are staying at Greg’s in Denver. We celebrated his 65th birthday yesterday with Greg, Jenny, and Matt. Was a nice evening! Desiree sent pics of Charlee and Jett getting their Christmas gifts and makes me wish
I had the joy of a grandchild, I enjoy my “kids” but to have a little one around would make it that much more special! Ready to move on from this year, I’m not giving the covid vaccines but my friend is and she even took it after swearing she would not, says
it was very easy, no pain! She says all of the young, up and coming physicians have studied on it a lot and are convinced it is safe and the best thing we can all do to rid ourselves of this nasty virus! I will be getting it as soon as I am able!

A VERY MERRY CHRISTMAS to all HHF'S whereever you may be. We hope your holidays are bright and happy! We had a very nice time on Christmas Eve with Robert, Barb, and Pete! Early eve delicious ham supper with peach pie and many goodies for dessert. We missed Ardella, but are so glad she seems to be adjusting. Thanks to Barb and Pete for hosting the Christmas party.
