On this Thanksgiving Eve we want to wish all of you a very blessed Thanksgiving Day! It has been a difficult year for many reasons, but there is still much to be thankful for. Thinking of all of you and sending prayers & wishes to all for a nice holiday. We will be celebrating with our “pod” - Kevin, I & mom & dad. The weather in ND looks to be very nice for the end of November, so we can be thankful for that! Be safe all!

Wish I was in your kitchen yesterday, Val! Yum! I love that you HAD to eat a couple!

Spent the weekend in McKinney. Steven, Mary and I drove up there after work on Friday. Hate that drive. It is so busy on the freeway between Houston and Dallas. Glad Steven did the driving this time and I had the back seat. They had their house already decorated for Christmas because they wanted to take family pictures early. I think it was also a good excuse to do it because they are spending their first Christmas season in their new house. Steven and Mary are on schedule to close on their house on December 7th. They are crazy busy with all that.
Hope everyone has a fabulous Thanksgiving. No lefse here. :(

We are sending our love & prayers to Aunt Audrey and to her family as she battles COVID-19. It is hard to imagine how scary it must be to see her struggle. Prayers for peace for her and all of those who love her so much.

Just wrote a long message and it didn’t take it! Bummer! Just wanted to let you all know you are in my thoughts and prayers as we endure this pandemic and everything else.
My job keeps me busy. Quite a year of being flexible. Our building has about 650kids in it and about 300 that are electing to learn remotely. I have one online class and the rest of the day with kids in my classroom. Weird year as kids are in and out for days or weeks at a time as they quarantine due to possible exposure or wait on test results.
I’m a homebody when I’m not working. Figure I’m exposed to enough as I work and feel no need to add to that.
Kids are good. Craig just opened a new studio in McKinney, Tx. Steven and Mary just had an offer on a house accepted last night so are most excited and hope the insp3ctions go well so they can proceed. All are in Colorado this weekend visiting their dad.
Stay safe and healthy! Love you all!

Great news about Uncle Robert! Sounds like they wanted to get him in and out as quickly as possible, thank the good Lord it went well. Hope he continues to do well at home!
I will try to call my mom later this morning to give her the good news-as I’ve said sometimes hard to get her to answer the phone. The director said it would be ok(even though they’re on lock down) for a “visit” from the family to try to get her up and a little more engaged, Candy is off today so she plans to go over for a visit. Ron and I may try to go up later in the week for a visit if they allow it!
Shelley nice to see your post-wonder if you were in the streets of DC dancing-we saw on tv?
Love to you all- continued prayers🥰

Great news! Dad was released from the hospital this afternoon! He is on oxygen to get him over the pneumonia and get him healthy again (they expect this will be temporary). He said the nurses did a great job. He's very happy to be home and we all appreciate your continued prayers for his good health!

Hi All!,
Is Sunday morning. Talked to Dad about 10:00 am and he said the doctor had been in and said he might be able to go home later this afternoon. I will let post when we know more. Yesterday evening he called and said he felt 99% better than he did on Friday, so that was a winner. Appreciate all the prayers & keep praying!

Uncle Robert & his family need our prayers. He was taken to the hospital today as he is having difficulty breathing & was retaining fluids. Barb & Pete are on their way to Minot tomorrow (Sat). The hospital is overwhelmed with patients so he was waiting in the ER for a room. Send prayers & positive vibes!!!!

Thanks for the update Cindy, love to hear from Col. Carl left last Wednesday on his trip home. He made it to Cary NC in 2 1/2 days, lots of driving. H had to make it fast as he was scheduled to work on this past Monday, they said he had to have a Co-vid test. He got a "fast test", Friday afternoon, passed it okay and is back at work. He did call me when the Vikings won and we did several "whoopees together~!" Nothing better than a win for those Vikings. Hope to get my new Viking flag and pole for Sundays game if it doesn't snow. Hi to all,
Hang in there bonnie with the sleep mask- has really helped Ron but took a long while for him to get used to it!
Loved the pic of "Joe Exotic", don't watch that show but have seen lots in magazines about him-anyway, very cute! Hope Des will put pics of her grandkids on the website, Jett was abducted by an alien in his costume and sweet Charlee was a "Charlee horse"-so dang cute I can hardly stand it.
I have one more flu clinic next week then I'm done, has been kind of a tough year, many have been outdoors due to the Covid which is kind of cold in the morning hours-I sure hope we will be DONE with this soon!
Mom is still on "lock down" at the assisted living so just phone calls for now-shes terribly confused and only getting worse:(
Did Carl go home yet? Know you must have loved having him at the farm to help. Haven't heard much about the Helstedt family-come on Barb and Sue how about some texts to keep us informed.
Stay safe-love to you all!
