Happy Birthday Candy!! Hope you have a special, grand day -- you are a special person! Hope you're still rocking those yoga pants (I remember London's posts from several years ago). They are still all the rage here.
So glad all the riots are over here in Minneapolis. Not a good scene.
Can't wait to hear more about the adorable puppy that Bonnie acquired! Details needed -- what's his name? He looks very intelligent. Heard from Dad that he's "lively". Should be fun! So glad Carl was there to visit and help!
Love to all!, Barb & Pete

So good to see a few posts! Congrats on the new vehicles Cindy & Greg! And Congrats to Shelley on upcoming refreshing in her apartment! We had a beautiful day in ND today! Tried to spend some time outdoors working in the yard & with my flowers. Kevin spent the day mowing lawns, trimming & spraying at our house & in Bergen. Carl has been here for a week & will be here another week. He & dad have been spending their days fencing. Mom has a new resident at the farm & we are hoping he is a “keeper”! He has a lot of energy! I will post a photo & let mom tell the story! Stay safe everyone!!

Thank you for the update Cindy! Please keep the updates coming.

Here's an update from DC. Work demands are great, but it is difficult to have only work - I try to see a friend here or there for a walk. Been alternating between my DC apartment and my little house in the woods. I am excited that I am going to have my apartment painted, floors redone, and possible bathroom remodeled in the next few weeks. I have a lot of work to do this weekend to get place ready - it is so cramped - must move all breakables. Me and Val would like to plan a cousin Zoom call and hope you will participate - more on that soon. Would be wonderful to "see" everyone.

On my way back to Casper either today or tomorrow, Jill was there for the last week. Bought a new vehicle on Memorial Day while visiting Greg in Denver- got a 2019 Mazda CX-5 it’s dark gray- love it, had been thinking about a SUV to make traveling in the winter months easier! Greg took off Tuesday and HE bought a 2020 Audi Q7, definitely a step up from my vehicle but that’s ok, he traded in his other 2 vehicles so we’re all happy he decided to go to one vehicle.
Don’t know any timeline yet of my mom going into memory care, do know I’m ready to get my life back to normal. Is very difficult to live in someone else’s home.
Love to everyone!

So sorry for the error! Very impressed that London is now a REGISTERED NURSE! Guess I heard wrong or assumed something that wasn't right! KUDOS AGAIN TO LONDON FOR ALL HER WORK AND FOR CHOOSING SUCH AN HONORABLE PROFESSION! We are all proud of her and what she has done and will accomplish! Bonnie F

Hi saw the posts and must correct you! London did indeed graduate from nursing school but she is a REGISTERED NURSE- wow am so proud! She will be taking her boards in a month or so. Also has a job interview at the hospital in Casper on Thursday, she is currently working at a independent living facility. She has her AD in nursing and down the line plans to get her 4 year degree. She has worked so hard and deserves much praise!😍

I believe that congratulations are in order for Miss London Hultman. After visiting with Jill the other day, I believe she has passed her boards and is now a LPN nurse and that the pinning ceremony will be Friday, May 15. Great job London, we are all proud to know you and we are happy for your accomplishment!CONGRATULATIONS! Bonnie F

Happy Mother's Day to all the incredible HHF Moms! Hope everyone is having a wonderful day celebrating and relaxing! You hard-working Moms definitely deserve it! The Feist Zoom Tea Party sounds delightful -- what a great idea! Glad to hear of great ways to connect together! All is well here. My 3rd haircut appointment was postponed to June. I told Pete I might need him to cut my hair. He volunteered because he thought I was joking -- but I wasn't. Indeed the next day he cut off my bottom layer in the back and I trimmed my bangs a tad. I'm sure my hairdresser will be horrified but I couldn't take it anymore. Love to all!, Barb & Pete

Happy Mother’s Day to all the HHF moms! Have a wonderful day! We had a Zoom Tea Party yesterday & was so much fun! Mom & I, Shelley, Deb, Olga & Erica enjoyed sharing some virtual time together. Some of us had hats, we all had special cups/mugs & just enjoyed visiting! Today(Sunday) we will have Italian dinner at my house & then hoping Mom & I can make a trip to a greenhouse! Very cool day here, but sun is shining! Hope everyone has a wonderful day!

Happy 16th Wedding Anniversary to Carl and Olga. We hope you were able to celebrate and reminisce about that day. It was such a nice spring day and we were all there except Deb to witness your vows at Custer Park in Bismarck. Time flies by but memories stay on. Best Wishes! Mom and Dad

Thanks everyone for the birthday wishes. Kathleen and Craig spent the weekend and Steven and Mary joined us on the evening of my birthday. They brought up the end of a parade that a friend of mine organized for me that night! Everyone decorated their cars, brought me gifts and made a ruckus on the street as they drove up and down my cul-de-sac. It was quite a cool surprise, plus it was great to see faces I haven’t seen now in a couple months.

I had a great weekend. It was nice to have someone in the house besides myself!

Just doing the distance teaching thing. 3 1/2 weeks to go! It’s been quite a learning curve for my students and I. I’m so glad our district has supplied our students with their own laptops for years so at least we were ready to do it and had an online learning platform that we have been using. Sounds like it’s been quite a challenge in a lot of school districts.

Happy Birthday to my incredible sister Sue! Sounds like you have a fabulous day celebrating with Kathleen, Craig, Steven and Mary! AND a birthday parade! Too fun! Was great to facetime with you. Keep celebrating! (P.S. I tried to add an old pic, but it became giant like Des', so deleted everything and no pic this time). We love you! Barb & Pete

Hi all, So nice to see some entries and the picture of Charlee is so adorable. Sue, I hope you have had a good day for your birthday. Val and Kevin came and planted potatoes for us this evening. My back is bothering me a lot and Curt has a painful hip, so was nice that we didn't have to do it. I am seeing my chiropractor and she is working on all the parts of my body that are aching, guess turning 80 was tougher than I thought it would be.
Stay Safe everyone
