Happy Anniversary today (Jan 11) to my parents as they celebrate 61 years! Sounds like they will be watching some football as the NDSU BISON are playing for a National Championship today & more importantly the MINNESOTA VIKINGS are in a playoff game today
too!

Gosh, do I feel bad- just now on to wish Uncle Curt a very happy birthday! Hope your day was as special as you are to this family!
Starting the year off busy as usual, Got all my Christmas decorations down yesterday. Monday was at the hospital with
my mother in law- repeat EGD(scope)everything turned out well but they were way behind and spent a LONG day waiting:( Will be going to Casper next week to spend some time with my Mom, also has appt with her doctor on Friday. She is definitely getting worse
memory wise and really thinking at least for the rest of the winter that she needs to be in a living center(probably beyond "assisted living"-probably have to be a memory care unit, they would do an assessment so will have to see) I will see how she is when
I stay with her. Will keep you all informed.
Hope you're all well and taking care of yourselves. Lots of sickness around Greeley-not us though-yay!

We're late but a very Happy Birthday and healthy year is wished for Curt!! Hope you're staying warm by drinking Val's special hot chocolate and using your new boots! Was great fun to celebrate Christmas with you and all of the Velva gang.

Happy 81st Birthday today to my dad! I talked with him this morning & told him I knew he would not "relax" as that is just not in his DNA, but hoped he had a day with few troubles. He is getting some "essentials" from us for his birthday - a new pitchfork, new pac boots and his favorite hot chocolate mix! Hope we get to share some cake with him later tonight! Happy Birthday dad! Hoping 2020 is herd reduction year!

Had Jill's 60th birthday party yesterday-WOW, what a great turnout, just shows how much she is loved by everyone! Was so much fun
and I think she really enjoyed herself-Her best friend, Lynne, flew in from CA to be there and that was a great surprise for her. We are going to Blackhawk to start the new year off right by continuing her bday celebration-hope we come out ahead. Could use
the extra $ after Christmas and the holidays-ha.
Glad everyone made it home safe and now start 2020 right!

HAPPY NEW YEAR to all HHF'S! Spent the a.m. (4 a.m.) helping Curt 's second prep to his colonoscopy, which went well, no polyps no adhesions. We had an early New Year's lunch at Arby's and are staying in and taking it easy. Shelley made it back to D.C., taking a very late plane into Dulles after missing her connection in Mpls. I hope everyone has a good year this coming year and HAPPY 60TH BIRTHDAY TOMORROW TO JILL! Have fun wish I was there. Bonnie F

We had a wonderful Christmas celebration! Christmas Eve we attended the church service which was so nice with the traditional candle lighting & new addition of hand bells at our church. We had a delicious supper made by mom, we facetimed with Carl, Olga & their fur babies & also with the Johnsons. Christmas Day Erica arrived in the afternoon. We had a great day celebrating! The Kazoo music game brought many laughs as did the flying monkeys Santa brought! Yesterday was "recovery" day. Kevin, Erica & I had our own little celebration - opened gifts & enjoyed going for a drive to see Christmas lights. Hope everyone had a wonderful Christmas!

It was a fantastic Christmas celebration - with the kazoo name-that-tune, approximately 1000 types of cookies and candies, a delicious ham dinner and flying monkeys. Thanks to the Heisler family for hosting us!
