Hi everyone. Big news, Dave and I are going to be Grandparents! Chance and Chelsea announced it Sunday night at dinner with an ultrasound picture. We are so happy and thrilled for them. I'm sure I made quite the spectacle of myself at the Cracker Barrell restaurant lol. They also closed and moved into their new home yesterday. It's such a wonderful and happy time for them and us. I can't wait to be a grandma! August 28th is the due date and they do plan on finding out what they are having. Additionally, they are planning to get married but it's not likely they'll have a wedding. Chelsea would prefer to go to the JP and save the money!

Anyway so, so happy. Every year at Christmas I purchase an ornament with a word to describe the season. This year's ornament said "BLESSED."

Hello everyone! I have posted a few photos of Curt & Bonnie's 60th wedding anniversary at the bottom of the menu to the left in the album titled Curt & Bonnie's 60th. They are a very hard couple to photograph, but I tried my best! Kevin & I were at the farm this evening & looked at all the beautiful cards they received! Thanks to everyone who sent cards - mom & dad enjoyed looking at them!

I forgot to mention Ardella's birthday. We were glad that Barb and Ardella were able to come over to Larsons and have cake with us.
Also yesterday was Kathleen's birthday, so Belated Happy Birthday, Kathleen! Quite a few special days for HHF'S in January.

Hi all HHF'S, Thank you for the lovely cards and well wishes on our 60th wedding anniversary! Seems almost hard to believe that we could have gotten this far. We had a nice evening on January 11th. Kevin and Val picked us up and we drove to Minot to the Grand Hotel and the Primo restaurant inside. We also did this on our 40th anniversary. Our friends since high school, Lauren and Mavis Larson were there and we had a great dinner and visiting and toasts. Val had decorated the table with diamonds and flowers(guess 60th is the diamond anniversary) Many photos were taken, hope something turned out, I am known and the great eye closer"
Then we drove over to the Larsons house for cake and bubbly. The two ladies that cut the cake at our original wedding were there, Mavis and Ardella. Again they posed for photos and pretended to cut the cake. It was a gorgeous cake, white with lemon filling and decorated with crysanthemums(like 1959) . Much reminiscing and visiting there until after 11 p.m. (Curt did take a little nap). It was a nice celebration and hanks to Val and Kevin and the Larsons for hosting us once again. We are enjoying all the cards we have received and this evening looked at all of them again. Our small po box has had an overflow sign several times already.
