Happy 60th Birthday, Cindy! I hope it has been a great day and will be a great year!
I got back yesterday from the cruise. We all had a wonderful time. It was around 82 degrees most of the time, so very pleasant. The ship was really nice, lots
to do and great food. Spent the day in Cozumel on the beach. It was a very nice and lazy day.
Kathleen and Craig have picked a wedding date of December 28, 2018. Please save the date. It would be so wonderful if you all could come. Christmas together
would be wonderful, too, if everyone came a few days early. Wouldn't that be great?! I hope everyone seriously thinks about it!

HAPPY BIRTHDAY today to dear niece CINDY! I can't believe that you are now the sensational one turning the big 60! Hope your day is filled with good things, you deserve it! Hope my card arrived intime, wish we could be together for the big occasion. We
are enjoying our company so much. The little pup has been so good and Olga has taught her many tricks. Her flight experience was okay, she is small enough for a pet carry on but had to be in it during the trip. Maybe Val will post a photo, I don't know how
to do it. Looking forward to Thanksgiving Day, I haven't made a turkey in a long time, hope I can still get it done!

We are enjoying a visit from Carl, Olga and their pup! In honor of
your 60th birthday Cindy, Mom, Olga & I are taking the afternoon for "Girls Day Out"! We are planning to go out for lunch, visit the greenhouse & see all the beautiful poinsettias, do some shopping & see a movie! Wish you were here to join us!

off to Jackson, TN for Thanksgiving with Pete's brother & family. Looking forward to meeting our great-nephew Nick (yes another Nick, but this one only 1 yr 8 mos). Have a great Thanksgiving everyone! We are SO thankful for having such a wonderful family.

How exciting, both kids engaged! Congratulations all around! Thailand, that sounds like an interesting place to visit. Didn't the whole family go there together at one time when the kids were younger? Hope you can get away and have a WONDERFUL vacation with your girlfriends. Great news.

Anniversaries, birthdays, so many reasons to celebrate! Hope everyone is having a good time!
More big news! Steven and Mary are in Thailand for vacation and he popped the question and she said,Yes"! I guess she was quite surprised, but most excited
and happy. I don't have any other details since they are still on vacation. They get back the middle of this week.
Along with millions of Houstonians, I had many last nights watching baseball as the Astros played many games and eventually won the World
Series. My school district did not close school on Friday for us to go to the parade. I wouldn't have gone anyway! They estimate over a million people lined the parade route! Not my idea of fun.
Looking forward to my own vacation. Five friends and I are
leaving on the 16th on a Royal Carribbean cruise out of Galveston to Cozumel, Mexico and back. Can't wait.

Happy Halloween everyone! Our theme at VEC today was a "Childhood Memory". Our Engineering Department employees dressed as the Flintstone family. I was "you guessed it" Bozo the Clown! Hope everyone has a great day!

Great news Jill, so happy your report is good! Busy week here with hay hauling,c ow and bull chasing, trip to Minot for oil for the tractor, and today watching the VHS Aggies win another football game over the Beulah Miners. One more game and they will be in the Dakota Bowl on Nov. 10 if they win next Saturday. Thanks for the good news. So happy for you. Love, Bonnie

Thank you everyone for the birthday wishes! I had a wonderful day! I had to be at work as it was board meeting day but my boss had gotten a birthday cake made for me & the board & staff gave me a nice card & they all sang Happy Birthday! I was remembered by lots of my co-workers with gifts & well wishes. It was a beautiful day yesterday (60's) so I went for a nice walk with my friend Cindy at noon. I opened a box from Shelley that contained a clown bow tie, clown shoes and a clown nose (I have always thought I'd like to be a clown)! I put these items on & walked down the hall at work. I went home after work & opened all my birthday cards & some packages containing some lovely gifts. Went for a ride on our new farm hand/clown mobile & then we went to Minot for taco pizza at Happy Joes! A favorite! Mom had made me a birthday cake so we spent the rest of the evening at the farm with mom & dad looking at old Feist photos I had gotten when I went to Las Vegas, including some of dad when he was a little boy. Perfect day! Thanks everyone for your birthday wishes! Feeling blessed!
