Was wonderful to have Mom visit me last week. (Even though I spent two nights in the hospital!) We were able to enjoy a stay at my little house near Shepherdstown between Mon Apr. 18 and Apr 25. We greatly enjoyed cut out cookies from the mennonite bakery and time relaxing in the sun.

Just posting a favorite pic of Uncle Art as today was his birthday (24th). I have such great memories of him and what a great guy he was! We always had fun when we got together -- he was wonderful. And best of all, he made Aunt Audrey so happy! I loved to ask her how they met and she was always so happy to tell the story.

I hope everyone is doing well. Know ND got more snow so things have been so tough for you guys in Velva. Hang in there!

Happy Easter everyone! Hoping everyone has a nice Easter Sunday. We are once again getting snow & wind & it visibility was not good again this morning. We watched the Easter service from our church online & I made a breakfast pizza. Wind is supposed to pick up more again this afternoon. Crazy times! Looks like it will be a “stay at home” day for me. Kevin just left on the snowmobile as we can see that my dad is stuck with the tractor across the way along the trees. All the work we did yesterday to get things cleaned out - back to square one again. It is exhausting. Much love to all of you ~ please say some prayers for us in ND.

Hello from ND - where we are experiencing “Snowmageddon”! We have had over two feet of snow & it is still coming down & the wind gusts are 40-50 mph. Kevin got out on the snowmobile to get to the farm & help dad feed the cows, but got stuck on the snowmobile coming home. Kevin is out trying to clean some of the snow off the driveway with his tractor & snowblower. He has been working on it for several hours. Roads are all closed and no one can get anywhere. It is supposed to be very windy all through the night & wind could last through Friday, with more chance for snow on Easter Sunday. Crazy! Glad I can be inside, but worry about those that have to be out in the elements. Thanks to those that have called to check on us! Just hoping it does not melt fast or we will be dealing with flooding for certain. Ugh…. We need moisture, but this is a bit much!

Hello all! Mom & I had a most wonderful weekend celebrating “Memories of Elvis” at a tribute concert in Medora! It was a mini-reunion of Haga cousins - Me, mom, Punky, Donna, Rita, Sharon & Marci & Punky’s neighbor Christine joined us. Some of us sat in the front row & it was so awesome! Most had Elvis shirts, jewelry, purses - we were the “groupies”! It was lots of fun! Wish you all could have been there!

We picked oranges from their orange tree! Visited my friend MARILYNN yesterday & today - was so nice to see her! Weather has been beautiful! Was 86 ABOVE today! Tomorrow we head to Las Vegas!!
