Happy Birthday today to Jenny Thompson! Thinking of you and hoping your day is awesome! Talked to your mom on Sunday & she told me your parents had been to Denver to help you celebrate! The countdown has begun! Two weeks from today is the Haga Reunion! Kevin and I finished painting the inside of the church (except for the entry) and it looks awesome! Tomorrow we take the tape off and start cleaning! Lots to get ready for the big day! Looking forward to seeing everyone, just know our time together will be too short! Grandma Lou's family will be well represented!

HAPPY BIRTHDAY JOHN A HULTMAN! Hope you can celebrate with the family. Another really hot day here in ND. 2 boys quit at noon, said it was too hot! I thought working with an alcoholic was tough! Happy 60th Birthday, Kevin! Glad you are going to celebrate.
Looking forward to seeing everyone in a couple weeks.
Kathleen and Craig are dancing at the world championships in Las Vegas next Tuesday night. She says it will be streamed live on
Facebook. You have to like (I think that's what she said)(I'm not on Facebook) Fred Astaire to see it. I don't know what time they will dance, but if anyone wants more info, just let me know and I'll find out. I'm pretty sure it will be around 11pm or later.
Usually the pros dance after the amateur competition.

I'm off to Iowa tomorrow to a Norwegian conference. Always makes me feel young because
most of the people there are a couple decades ahead of me. That might be the secret to the fountain of youth -- hang around people older than you are and you'll feel young. Glad to hear Audrey is getting a new vitamin cocktail - hope it does the trick! Love

Happy Birthday to wonderful Kevin-60! 60! 60! I am looking at that number in November-I never really get too excited about any number in relation to age but somehow 60 seems like its getting to a point when I should start caring! Guess that's the way it
goes but seems like its going too fast now.
Spent time with my Mom last week, got some bloodwork and she had a physical, things looked pretty good but we changed up some of her meds and added some vitamins(B12 & D) Dr. hopes the changes will help with
her energy. Also, hoping the "hot flashes" get better. I'm still hoping that she will come to ND in August and I think she will but it seems to be day to day on how she feels about it. Have faith, we will get there. ha!

nice, Val and Kevin, congrats! 38 years is amazing, you should be proud! We all are proud of you! Yesterday was Ron's folks 65th anniversary- we got Olive Garden take out, just too difficult to take his Mom out anymore. Did have a nice meal with chocolate
cake for dessert. I think they enjoyed it. I did put a picture and write up in the paper, they were surprised by that and his mom kept looking at the picture and all she could say was how big her glasses were. We all notice how we look-ha.

Happy 60th Birthday to my hubby! I don't know how you got SO OLD! You wear it well & have a great attitude about aging - your mantra - "It's just a number" is very true! I love you so much & am so grateful for all you do for me, my family,your family and many others! Hope you have a great day!

Unfortunately since the 2 boys we have working for us don't and won't learn to drive a stick shift, I will have to be the truck driver again tonight, not a bad job, but what's with the young people today? Thanks everyone for the anniversary wishes! We did go out for a nice dinner at Applebees. It truly was the neighborhood bar & grill that night as we ran into three parties of people we knew and had not seen for a while. Was nice. We spent part of this past weekend in Harvey at the memorial golf tournament for our nephew Kyle. Was a gorgeous day & we enjoyed spending time with family. I got lots of baby snuggling in with my newest great, great nephew, Merrick! We were blessed with 1.25 inches of rain last night! Praise the Lord! It was so nice to hear the thunder and lightning & rain! Even though some of the crops are probably past help, it will help the grass, trees, etc... Tonight we are meeting about the reunion! Punky, Diane Braaten, my mom and I. It is coming up quickly! Looking forward to seeing many of you! Kevin decided the inside of the church needed painting, so he scraped all the walls and is getting ready to paint. I was not there to cover things up before he started the scraping, so needless to say, there is a thick coat of plaster dust on everything! Will be lots to clean, but it will be nice to have it done. Happy Anniversary Val and Kevin! If you were in Colorado I'd take you to one of the pot bars lol. Wow, 38 years is amazing and you two make it look sooo easy. Happy Birthday to Des! I still have the birthday card I picked out for you (at least 2 years ago) -- will save it for next year! Glad Chance came back for the occasion.
I forgot to mention that I put some pics from Father's Day down at the bottom
of the menu. We had such a nice time together, as always and I totally enjoyed my visit to ND.
Pete and I were invited to tour the new Vikings stadium a couple of weeks ago. Was absolutely stunning! We got to go into the Vikings Locker Room (the lockers
are open, with a folding chair they pull out -- not what we expected), the press box and the Delta Club which is adjacent to the field, and so exclusive we'll probably never get into again.
So looking forward to seeing lots of you at the Anniversary
