On Friday we visited the Mill City Museum & enjoyed touring the remains of the flour mill that made Gold Medal Flour. Nice view of Mississippi River!

Mississippi River & falls near Gold Medal flour mill museum. Stone Arch bridge used to bring flour by rail to the mill. It is now a pedestrian bridge. Very pretty here!

Saturday evening Barb & Pete ventured downtown Minneapolis & we had a nice dinner together at the Newsroom Restaurant. We had Happy Hour at the hotel room before we went out.

After the big game we ordered pizza in and enjoyed a fabulous cake - probably BEST white cake with white frosting we have ever had! Ordered from a specialty bakery in downtown Minneapolis! Great end to a wonderful birthday!

Enjoy these photos from Bonnie’s 80th birthday celebration trip to Minneapolis to see her beloved Minnesota Vikings take on the Philadelphia Eagles! The Vikes did not disappoint & were victorious, frosting on the BD trip for Bonnie!  We had to leave early for Minneapolis due to an approaching snowstorm so we had some extra time to enjoy a few sights in Minneapolis and added bonus of spending a night with Barb & Pete!  It was a great trip & we really enjoyed seeing mom have so much fun!
